    Inglesina Zuma Highchair Description

Italians do a lot of things right, most notably style and mealtime. The Inglesina Zuma High Chair combines both traditions in one innovative package. The best features of the Zuma high chair from Inglesina are the curved seat, which keeps food from hiding away in corners, the ridiculously easy-to-adjust 8-height positions, and wheels for effortlessly moving the Zuma High Chair around the kitchen.

Benefits for Mom and Dad: Inglesina keeps the Italian innovation coming with a high chair tall enough to bring baby to the family table, a much-loved tradition in Italy. The removable snack tray inserts into the dinner tray and provides an additional surface for when more food makes it onto the tray than into baby’s mouth. When not in use, the Zuma folds small enough to hide away under the table. Wheels make moving the Zuma from kitchen to dining room a snap.

Mealtime can be messy, and so Inglesina designed the Zuma’s seat with a rounded shape for extra easy cleaning. The fully removable washable seat pads come off in seconds (they’re attached with Velcro) and wipe off easily.

Benefits for Baby: For baby, the Inglesina Zuma High Chair reclines to three positions so baby can eat, play, and nap, all in one spot! The 5-point harness keeps little ones feeling secure. Children love that they can enjoy dinner with mom and dad right at the table.

I absolutely love this high chair, although it isn’t 100% perfect, it’s pretty darn close! The reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is I’d like it if the tray came closer to the baby and I would like the harness to tighten even more than it does. The harness is too loose even at it’s tightest setting for my 6.5 month old baby (just under 14 lbs) so a more secure harness might have brought my vote up to 5 stars. I love that I can put her in the chair without removing the tray, then I can feed her in an upright position then recline her for a bottle, whereas with my old high chair, I’d need to take her out of the chair to bottle feed her. I love that it has a 5 pt harness even though it’s a bit loose right now. My other chair was a 3 pt harness and she would slump over a bit if she got tired…that chair was just far too big for her so this is a drastic improvement. My favorite feature is the height adjustment. I lowered her so I can sit comfortably at the dining room table to feed her without having to stretch and reach. This feature alone makes this worth the extra expense. I wanted the Chicco Polly but my husband didn’t think it was safe enough since the safety bar wasn’t attached to the seat and he was afraid she might squirm and fall when I was taking her out of the high chair. The Zuma has a nice safety bar in place and I feel 100% safe with her in the chair, although I don’t turn my back on her at all since the harness is loose. I’m thinking by the time she’s 16-18 lbs the harness will fit properly. I love the bold colors and styling of the chair too. I got it in red and it’s so lively in the kitchen without being too goofy with Fisher Price types of characters plastered all over. It comes fully assembled. So easy to use. Overall, a well made, sturdy, stylish chair that is worth every penny! I didn’t buy it here but have bought other baby gear on this site and the customer service is outstanding.

I used to have a traditional graco high chair that was too big and bulky. I purchased this high chair recently for my 10 month old and I love it. Yes, the tray does sit a little far from the child, but my child got messy regardless of the chair he sat in. It is very easy to roll around and I like being able to slide my child in and out easily (which is actually a plus to having the tray far away). It is very stylish and comes fully assembled. You can even wash the chair cover in the wash machine. I would highly recommend this chair to anyone looking to purchase something other than the traditional big, bulky high chair that most baby brands produce.

Needed a high chair that we could fold away easily as we cannot leave it out all the time. The Zuma is functional and comfortable and practical as well as looking good and we can move it around as we need with no difficulty. Yes it is pricey but if you are looking for a good all around High chair that saves space then I would recommend this. I looked at many options and was unsure at first if I had done the right thing but now I wouldn’t change it for anything else given the choice

I love our Zuma high chair. We have a small house and having a high chair that I can fold up and place out of the way when I am done using it is great. It is easy to roll around and set up, and I love the modern look. The only downside is that the tray is so far away from the seat that food falls onto my baby’s lap rather than back on the tray. When she gets it bigger (and she is pretty little right now) it should be less of a problem as she will take up more space in her seat. Until then we are placing dish clothes on her lap.
